    Reformers, Where Are Your Reforms?

    Objective:

    Students will apply their knowledge of primary historical documents to their evaluation of The Federalist Papers.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.11-12.1 ; CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.11-12.4

    Structure:

    For this exercise, students will discuss their proposed reforms to the Articles of Confederation. Each group should be given 5–10 minutes to present. In addition to presenting what they thought would be the best way to reform the articles, the teacher should also ask students to answer the following questions?
