Dagou is the eldest son but the most immature because he is indolent and waits for his parents to die to inherit their wealth. In addition, Dagou can be described as the most paradoxical character in the novel because he is introduced as the most intelligent person who went to the best schools through scholarship funding, but he does not want to put his brain to work.

What circumstance led to the death of Leo in the freezer?
When Dagou arranged a sumptuous party in the restaurant, his father, Leo, made an abrupt appearance and announced that he had sold the restaurant to another investor. Dagou received the news with discontent because the restaurant is one of the main properties he looked forward to inheriting. Later, the father told Dagou that he was just joking about the sale of the restaurant. However, Dagou did not believe him, and he locked Leo inside the freezer and walked away with the key. The following day, Leo was found dead.
