Students will demonstrate an understanding of H.D.'s poems by writing imitations of her works.

Structure:

This is the second day of a multi-day activity.

Instruct students to write a pastiche of either "Eurydice" or "Fragment 113." Like H.D.'s poems, their poems should either retell a well-known myth or story from a different point of view, or should create something out of a fragment of Sappho's work.
