    Consider Roxy’s observations about D&D apply to other characters in the novel.

    Students will have a plethora of Roxy’s observations about the game to evaluate how they apply to other characters. For example, early in Roxy’s chapter, she asks Chris if he ever scored real people according to D&D scoring: “Generosity, Coordination, Immune System Strength, Sex Appeal.” He says he doesn’t, but that the counters do, which feeds into the corporations who buy their numbers and people who measure their own values based on things like clicks and views.
