The Bacchae Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of The Bacchae, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Many of the classroom activities in this lesson plan incorporate technology, especially for research purposes and as a means of presenting studies with multimedia interpretations of the play and traditional Greek art.

Day 1: Students will use the internet/online school databases to research ancient Greek theatre and myths. Students may use technology to create models of theatres and digital presentations.
