Eve's condition was unpredictable. Sometimes, she'd have a migraine; sometimes, she'd be nauseous; sometimes, she'd be dizzy; sometimes, she'd be in a horribly foul mood. One of the problems was that these bad days were never consecutive, so they were difficult to attribute to the same source. Sometimes, there could even be weeks of normal days during which Eve was fine. When the bad days came, though, they were intense. Denny couldn't understand Eve's screaming, nor her fits of anguish.
