Students will research the features of 5 different dog breeds associated with the novel.

Structure:

The farmer who sells Enzo to Denny tells him that Enzo's mother is a labrador and his father is a shepherd-poodle mix. Enzo, however, suspects that he was actually sired by the terrier on the farm. Then, in the movie version of The Art of Racing in the Rain, Enzo is portrayed by a golden retriever.

Students shall research the five dog breeds mentioned above and compare and contrast the features of the different breeds.
