Describe Pinoccho. What motivates him? Is he a likeable or good person?
Pinocchio will stand out to many students as being very similar to a non-fictional human boy. He is more interested in having fun and lazing about than in doing anything productive, and it is hard for the authority figures in his life to make him listen to them. Furthermore, he is egoistic in the extreme – he thinks little about other people, and even harms them when they get in his way. Some students may therefore find him unlikeable, but none of them will find him unrealistic.
