The T-800 Model (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first two films) was killed at the end of the first film. How does it reappear in T2?
The T-800 is mass-produced on an assembly line. There is no single, unique T-800. In fact, many of them have the same exterior appearance. It is purely coincidental that the T-800 model looks the same in The Terminator and T2. They are not the same character despite being played by the same actor.

Why can't the T-1000 robot swiftly destroy the inferior T-800 model?
It is not abundantly clear why the T-1000 robot was not able to quickly destroy the T-800. As a prototype, perhaps it was not loaded with the T-800 schematics and thus was not able to discern the T-800's weak spots (including its biggest weak spot: its battery). Still, the T-800 is a very formidable enemy and not exceptionally easy to kill. Just because there is a better model of Terminator available doesn't mean it would easily destroy an older model because the older models still put up a formidable fight.

Time Traveling requires flesh. How can the T-1000 model, which has no actual and traditional flesh like the T-800, time travel?
Ultimately, some say that this a major plot hole in the film. Others claim that the T-1000 was able to be sent to the past because it was able to imitate flesh (thereby tricking the machine into thinking that it had actual flesh). On the other hand, others think that the complex type of alloy that encased the T-1000 was able to be sent into the past because the alloy it was composed of was much more complex than other Terminators or weapons).

Why didn't the resistance send back weapons?
The resistance was not able to send weapons back in time because the time travel machine they used allowed only for flesh to be transported to the past. Inorganic matter could not be transported into the past -- or the future for that matter (which is why the humans and Terminators which used the machine had to travel naked).
