Robinson is the editor of Spotlight newspaper who leads a team of investigative journalists. He encourages his reporters to follow leads on the members of the Church who had allegations of sexual abuse towards children against them.
Marty Baron
Baron is the newly hired editor of The Boston Globe newspaper, who urges the team at Spotlight to investigate into the molestation allegations of John Geoghan. The story becomes bigger than he expected as he realizes that there is a molestation ring within Boston Archdiocese and that they were being protected by Cardinal Law.
Mitchell Garabedian
Garabedian is a lawyer who has vested interest in following the story as he was informed that members of the Boston Church were sexually abusing children. He played an integral role in providing documental evidence of these allegations and gave interviews to the journalists to support the case.
