The story is set in 1943 and centers around gremlins and RAF pilots during the war. One day an RAF pilot discovers a Gremlin damaging his aircraft by drilling holes into it.
The story then reveals the history of the gremlins. Once upon a time, gremlins ruled the earth. However, when humans overtook them, the gremlins had to go into hiding. The gremlins became angry at this and plotted revenge on the humans.
They made their first reappearance during WWI to fight against the humans. This is when they started drilling holes and ruining aircraft in the hopes of hastening mankind’s eradication. Quickly, they realized that the militant humans were much more aggressive than them. So, they went into hiding again.
However, more world wars followed and eventually, mankind destroys itself without the gremlins having to interfere. At the end, man is dying out and the gremlins return to once again take over the world.
