Slaughterhouse Five is one of many books Kurt Vonnegut has written. While this is the only explicitly anti-war novel, he often experiments with unconventional structure, reappearing characters, and overlapping genres (particularly, science fiction is used again and again). Some of his other critically-acclaimed novels include Cat's Cradle, Breakfast of Champions, Bluebeard, and Mother Night.
