Though Fragment 98 discusses aspects of Greek life, how is it still relatable to a present-day audience?
Though the specifics of the poem are different from current American life, the general theme is very relatable. A mother (the speaker) is talking to her daughter about how trends and fashions have changed. She remembers the fashions that existed when her own mother was young, presumably that her mother told her about, and compares them to the fashions of her daughter's time.
