Mirabelle Nour (Belle)
Belle is a 38-year-old dress salesperson in Montreal. The author describes Belle as curious, lovable, beautiful, and self-loving, attributes she inherited from her late mother. Noelle is Belle's mother, a buoyant woman who wants to maintain her skin beauty no matter what it takes. Noelle is a lovely and caring woman because she cares for her daughter. Noelle is married to an Egyptian man but lives alone in Southern California. Noelle is obsessed with her skincare and uses international care products to achieve her desired outcomes.
Noelle reminds her daughter, Bell, that she has beautiful skin. In addition, she buys Bell beautiful dolls and arranges them in her room to remind her that she looks like the dolls. Noelle owns a big spa business but is forced to sell it because of her worsening financial situation. Unfortunately, Noelle dies when she falls off a cliff. After Noelle's burial, Belle discovers her hidden secrets, including huge debts.
