There are three Pride and Prejudice video/film adaptations used directly in this unit:
1. This high-quality illustrated video provides a visual learning experience. The short video summary is over six minutes and covers all of the major characters and plot points of the story.
2. Pride & Prejudice (2005 film)- This is a faithful film adaptation of the novel. It can be watched in its entirety, in small chunks, over the course of the unit, both to facilitate student understanding of Pride and Prejudice and to give students an opportunity to analyze the choices the filmmakers made in adapting the novel.
