Objective:
Students will creatively engage with the novel's perspective
Structure:
In one of the more striking parts of Poof!, someone calls Loureen's apartment. We never find out who it is, but that doesn't mean that students can interpret the events for themselves.
Reread the passage from the play, and ask students to consider the following questions:
1. Who was on the phone?
2. What did they want?
3. How would they react to Loureen's frantic state?
4. What did they do when Loureen didn't pick up?
