Maree
Maree was one of the young girls that were forced to attend and live in the Parramatta Girls Home. Her story isn't told in any great detail, but it is revealed that she suffered greatly, on the basis of the story. She was only 14-years-old when she committed suicide, as a result of the mistreatment and abuse she went through at the home.
Kerry
Kerry is a 58-year old woman when she returns for the reunion. She is indigenous woman, but has been in institutional care from she was a child. She has an important role in the play and in real life, as she had a part in the closing of the Home. When she was 15-years-old, she was an inmate at the Parramatta Girl's home, but she managed to escape before she was caught and punished.
Judi
Judi was also a 58-year-old woman during the reunion for the home. She was 15-years-old when she was an inmate at the home. She was often sexually abused by the guards, which she let them do, as it let her feel a sense of power. When she was let out, she continued with prostitution in addition to other criminal activities.
