Pablo Neruda: Poems Lesson Plan

Relationship to Other Books

Some students may have already read some poems by Neruda: these are likely to be odes, selections from his love poetry, or poems from his Book of Questions (not used in this lesson plan). If so, the teacher may find it useful to call upon their knowledge of these poems. Student knowledge of poetry more generally, or of Hispanic poetry, will naturally also be useful in the course of the class.
