Trees (“A Poem on the Assassination of Robert. F. Kennedy”)

The trees are emblematic of auspicious political figures, specifically, Robert F. Kennedy. The Americans would not get a taste of the fruits of his leadership expertise as he was felled before the flowers (his political ideals) would blossom and form fruits.

“A pound of flour” (The Laws of Motion)

A pound of flour is representative of black people. Flour can be puffed effortlessly by wind. Correspondingly, blacks are dispersed without difficulty owing to the lack of unanimity among them.

Seeds (“BLK History Month”)

Seeds are figurative of the African-Americans. Even though the Black History Month is reverence to all the African Americans, still they are drawn against countless complications, owing to their blackness, which impede their thriving in America.

Land (“BLK History Month”)

The land signifies the America. The inadequate dampness in the land is representational of the progression inhibitors that are peculiar to the blacks.
