Discussing Apartheid-era South Africa will likely raise questions and discussion about the history of segregation and racism in the United States, and the ways in which it continues to manifest. Be mindful to be clear about historical differences between the unique historical experience of racial prejudice in South Africa and the United States without conflating the two.
