The challenges facing refugees

The midnight traveler is all about the difficulties that refugees go through as they try to seek asylum. Hassan Fazili and his young family are running away from war-torn Afghanistan to Hungary through three countries: Turkey, Serbia, and Bulgaria. Hungary's journey is full of challenges because Fazili, his family, and other refugees go through forests full of dangerous animals. Most of the border countries erect electric fences to put off refugees. No country is ready to accept refugees because they are considered an unnecessary burden. When trying to cross borders, refugees are arrested and put in detention camps.

Additionally, refugees do not get adequate food and medical care, among other essential services. Women and children refugees are the most affected because they are subject to rape and kidnapping. Consequently, Hassan Fazili's experience as a refugee exposes the many obstacles refugees go through before they get a safe asylum.

The Negative Effects of Terror Groups

The film 'Midnight Traveler' exposes the negative impacts of war, terrorism, and political instability. Afghanistan has a history of terrorism, war, and political instability. Fazili and his family are evading the Taliban terror group, which is after his head. He has to run away and cross several countries before reaching his destination for asylum. Instability exposes the citizens of the country to problems, and they end up as refugees. Several people lose their lives while most properties are destroyed. War hinders development and human progress because people are always on the run to search for peace elsewhere.

Determination Pays

Fazili is determined to live, and he is ready to go through hardships to get a better life for his family. Experience is no longer favorable for him in Afghanistan because the Taliban terror group has put a bounty on his head. Fazili has no option but to escape with his young family to a safer place. While in the refugee camps, Fazili and his family are forced to tolerate adversities like sleeping in the cold and fighting other oppressions such as racism. However, Fazili is a courageous man who is determined to continue struggling until he gets a safe asylum for his family. Finally, Fazili and his family managed to reach Hungary, where he starts a new, better life. The 'Midnight Travel' documentary encourages viewers never to give up in life but continue struggling until they reach their ultimate goals.
