Students will write their own short stories using sensory details

Structure:

Using a projector, the class should watch the YouTube video of Kurt Vonnegut offering tips on how to write a short story.

While watching, the students should take notes. Afterward, hold a brief classroom discussion about his eight tips, asking the class which points they think Narayan is particularly adept at adhering to throughout Malgudi Days.
