The satire of women
The author depicts women as interesting creatures who always see men as wrongdoers despite their beauty and role in society. The author notes that if the world were to come to an end today, a woman would ask God to wait so that she could first tell him the mistakes of a man.
The irony of gender
The binary gender system discussed in this text is ironic. The reader expects the opposite genders to complement each other, but the reality is a complete contrast. The man is focused on masculinity and superiority. On the other hand, the woman is focused on her satisfaction and pinpointing a man's mistakes.
The irony of the Dark One
The Dark One is depicted as the most powerful to resurrect the dead and create new beings. Ironically, towards the end of the story, Rand wins the battle against the Dark One.
The satire of leadership on climate change
The readers expect leaders to be in the front line to develop strategies of curbing pollution to conserve the environment. Ironically, when the dark One takes over, he disrupts environmental conservation. Instead of initiating climate change measures, the Dark One poisons the environment!
