Objective:

Students will chart the course of a road trip taken by two characters.

Structure:

The first major section of Part Two deals with Humbert and Dolores undergoing a lengthy road trip throughout the United States. For this activity, students will break into groups of four or five and, using information pulled from today's reading, chart the pair's road trip as best they can. When groups have had sufficient time to do so, bring the entire class back together. Try to arrive at a classwide consensus as to where Humbert and Dolores traveled.
