The Centennial Event

The Centennial event symbolizes hope. The event is organized after every 100 years. During this event, the rulers of the six kingdoms meet to plan the strategies that can be used to destroy the killer curse that terrorizes their citizens. Therefore, the citizens look forward to this important event hoping that the killer curses will be eliminated.

Isla

Isla is a symbol of brilliance. Among the six rulers of the realm kingdoms, Isla has mastered the art of surviving the threat of death during the Centennial event. Isla has guardians who always train her on how to avoid death. Therefore, Isla is ahead of the game and knows how to tackle challenges affecting her kingdom.

The Heart

The heart symbolizes life in the novel. People must eat each other's hearts in the Wilding kingdom to survive. Those who fail to eat another person's heart die. Therefore, it is unsurprising to find people killing their loved ones to eat their hearts and survive.
