Kare Hedebrant
Born in 1995, Hedebrant was just twelve years old during filming of Let the Right One In. The film is Hedebrant's largest film role, and he is the main character of the film. Though his acting skills are undeveloped at the time, Hedebrant adds a youthful energy to the film. In 2005, Hedebrant played Emil in the theatrical production Emil i Lonneberga. Let the Right One In won Hedebrant several awards, including the San Francisco Film Critics Circle Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
Lina Leandersson
Born in 1995, Leandersson was also only twelve years old during production of the film. Let the Right One In was the only film in which Leandersson was featured. Several critics described Leandersson's performance as extraordinary and adding to the essence of the film, but others noted that Eli's character did not have much depth and revolved mostly around her being a vampire.
Per Ragnar
Per Ragnar, born in 1941, is a Swedish actor who has appeared in several films, such as Under Ytan and The Last Contract. Ragnar's role in Let the Right One In was small, but still added to his filmography repertoire. he is traditionally cast in villainous roles, but the role of Hakan was not quite villainous. Ragnar is perhaps best known for his role as Sten Frisk in the 1990's TV series Tre Kronor, in which Frisk was a fanatic over religious. This role began and cemented his role in the film world as playing traditionally evil characters.
