Students will create illustrations for Jane Eyre.

Structure:
1. As a class, students should brainstorm what important elements from the novel could be brought out with illustrations. Refer to Brontë's complex, often lush visual descriptions.
2. Project Gutenberg contains a copy of Jane Eyre transcribed from the 1897 Service & Paton edition by David Price. It contains illustrations by F.H. Townsend.
