Collaborative Writing
Objective:
Allows teacher and students to gauge their understanding of the text
Common Core Standards:

Structure:
Toward the end of the class period, put students in small groups of 2-4 students, depending on the amount of time you want to devote to the activity. Ask students to divide a piece of paper in half lengthwise and respond in writing on the left side to two prompts:
(1) What is the most important point you learned today?
(2) What point remains the least clear to you?
