Sharing Life Lessons

Objective:
Students will be able to connect the content of the book to real lessons that apply to their own lives.
Structure:
Begin this activity by instructing students to write down different life lessons they learned from the book. They should do this individually, considering what kinds of lessons they are personally taking away from the text. In their notes, they should be specific about the lesson and where in the book it came from. For example, if the lesson is to never give up on your dreams, they should explain how a specific part of the book taught them that.
