Objective:

Students will fill out a character map of the Incandenza family.

Structure:

Although Infinite Jest is filled with dozens of characters, both major and minor, the novel centers largely around the Incandenza family, with Hal as one of our "protagonists" (the other being Don Gately). We will learn a great deal about the Incandenza family and their relationships with one another, and so it will be helpful to have a reference chart to refer back to throughout our study of the novel.
