Belgrade is one of the characters who are looking for power using all means including hurting those they are supposed to lead. Belgrade and his fellow politicians are misusing their authorities to manipulate people purposely to rise to power.

  3. 3

Why do you think that it is the right time to educate the black people as expounded by the novel Imperium in Imperio?

The novel precisely explains that the main reason why black people are discriminated against is the lack of proper education. With proper education, black people can be in a position to exactly know their rights and how to fight for them. Similarly, Griggs expounds that black people's self-governance is possible with the right education. Intellectual black people can govern their fellow Africans effectively. On a similar note, the white people especially in Texas need to be re-educated so that they can view the blacks and other races as equal human beings. The perception that other races are inferior is misleading.
