    Social Order in Rome

    Kind of Activity:

    Group Work

    Objective:

    Students will research about various aspects of Roman daily life

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.9

    Structure:

    Brainstorming (10 minutes)

    Start by brainstorming with the class on what they already know about about life in ancient Rome. Using a smart or white board, create a bullet point list of student responses. Then ask one thing the students would like to learn about life in ancient Rome, also recording these responses.

    Research (15-25 minutes)
