Objective:

Students will write a set of bylaws for the ideal education system

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.W.2 Write informative/explanatory texts to examine and convey complex ideas and information clearly and accurately through the effective selection, organization, and analysis of content.

Structure:

After reading the chapter on Education, in pairs, students will write a set of bylaws to create equity in education. This should be a list of at least 10 well developed policies that address the issues raised by Kendall in the chapter.

Assessment Ideas:

This should be graded for completion.
