Nélida Fernandez
Nélida Fernandez is in love with Juan, and is very charmed by him. Her world shifts between reality to the fictional one where she followed her hearts and dreams, staying with Juan. When Juan dies, Nélida, also called Nené, tries gathering all the information she has on Juan with the help of his mother.
Juan Carlos Etchepare
Juan Carlos is a charmer and he knows it. He holds the hearts of very many women in town, but suddenly dies of tuberculosis. His life is explained through how other people looked at him and his life. They try gathering all the information they have of him, dreaming of the life he would have continued living had he stayed alive.
Leonor
Leonor is Juan's mother. She is depressed because her son died before she did. Nevertheless, she is contacted by Nélida Fernandez who tells her that she wants all the letters she used to send Juan back, so she can keep all the letters they shared together. This is how Leonor and Nené get to know each other.
