Recreating History (Day 3)

Group Work

Objective:

Students will be able to offer critique on each other's artistic work

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.9-10.5; CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.9-10.6

Structure:

Divide students into small working groups. In this period, each member of the group should share a section of their Recreating History project for peer critique. The other members of the group should consider the following questions:

* What is exciting to you about this piece?
* What is confusing to you about this piece? What do you still have questions about?
* What surprised you about this piece, or woke you up as an audience?
* If you could change...
