Bullying Discussion

Classwide Discussion

Objective:

In this activity, students will discuss bullying in Fuzzy Mud, their own experiences in school, and how technology affects bullying in school.

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.7.1

Structure:

Instructors should be sensitive to any victims (or perpetrators) of bullying in the classroom—they should encourage students to share, but only if they feel comfortable doing so.

Part 1: Group work (10 minutes)

In groups of 3-4, students will answer the following questions using textual evidence to back up their claim (including page number / chapter number for citation purposes) when applicable.
