Born in 1950, Louis Nowra is an Australian playwright best known for the play Cosi. Going down in history as one of the most memorable playwrights in Australia, Nowra grew up in an abusive household. With a mother that killed her own father, Nowra never got the love he truly observed, and was not accepted when he came out as bisexual in his teenage years. Nowra has had multiple wives, and still continues writing (both fictional works and essays) to this day.
