Catching Fire is available in a fairly-faithful modern film version, which might be an interesting viewing for students as it brings the book's action sequences to life. The first book and half of the third book are available as part of the same series. A number of similar dystopian films such as Logan's Run or Battle Royale might also be a way to reach students through technology. Unfortunately a planned Hunger Games-themed video game has yet to be released, but there's a virtual tour of Panem available here.
Day One's mapmaking activity utilizes Photoshop or other image editing software, as does Day Three's propaganda activity and Day Five's Spin Doctors posters.
