Objective:

To create a firmer idea of the world of Panem

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.1, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.9-10.5

Structure:

Working together as a group, have a class discussion about the different Districts. Discuss some of the clues given in the text — for example, the students will know that District 12's industry is mining, and you can offer more information, such as that District 7's industry is lumber and District 4's is fishing.
