Objective:

Students will illustrate their knowledge and comprehension of the novel in their movie pitches, as well as showing their creativity and ability to be clear, concise, and convincing while presenting their ideas.

Structure:

Begin this activity by introducing students to the how-tos of pitching a movie. As a class, watch the first five sections of this short video explaining how to pitch a movie (the section High vs Low Concept provides examples that may be especially useful).
