A globe of diverging genres. An all-encompassing haven that houses birthdays, family time, dates, anniversaries, or simply satisfies a cinephile’s weekly cravings. My thirst for continual experiences within the realms of comfort and tranquility was quenched by one place: the movie theater.

Screen 6: CURIOSITY
I hop-scotched along the path, in my flashy Crocs (a major flex at the time), to watch my first film in a cinema hall. My untrained nose acquainted itself with the glistening, buttery, soft, yet crispy popcorn, and I inadvertently made my first friend at the theater. Grabbing a tub larger than my grip could hold, I sat in my seat, awaiting something magnificent. What followed left me confused, to say the least. When my 24th question was left unanswered by my parents, I realized that if I didn't understand something, it would haunt me for days. From trying to understand what made popcorn crunchy, yet soft at the same time, at the age of 6, to pondering about the lack of business ethics in the modern world at the age of 17; My curiosity remains unwavering.
