The climax is when Georgia uses her cat, Angus, to get closer to Robbie, and she shortly wins him. Unfortunately, the friendship is short-lived because her father notifies Georgia that they are relocating to England.
Foreshadowing
The story commences by foreshadowing Georgina’s obsessive urge to enter into an adult relationship. Towards the end of the book, Georgina manages to enter into an adult relationship with Robbie.
Understatement
Robbie's feelings towards Georgia at first are understated because he dismisses her moves based on age. However, later Robbie is attracted to Georgia and confesses that he likes her.
