Drawing the Set of Act I

Objective:

Students will develop a profound understanding of the importance and relevance of a play's set for the story and development of characters.

Structure:

Using the info given in italics at the opening of Act I, students will create digital illustrations of the set as the play begins. They will use software (like GIMP, Photoshop, or Procreate) to create their illustrations, following the information about the set that's provided as closely as they can. Any information that isn't provided they will invent, but it should fit naturally with the given set information.
