Adam More is the foremost personality in ‘the manuscript’ where he articulates his encounters after ‘drifting in the Antarctic ocean’. He is the biographer of the manuscript which he anticipates will be conveyed to his father.
Agnew
Agnew is Adam More’s mate with whom they get lost at the sea. They lose trace of ‘ship Trevelyan’ after they go hunting seals.
Captain Bennet
Captain Bennet is the captain of ‘ship Trevelyan’ who does not endorse Adam and Agnew’s resolve to go hunting. He sends them bullet indicators to reappear at the ship.
