The Climb at the Wall

As Jon, Ygritte, and other wildlings begin to scale the Wall to cross over the other side, Jon realizes the sheer enormity and the security of the height that the Wall creates for the first time. Before this, he had only seen the Wall from the other side or from above the Wall as a man of the Night's Watch. This was the first time he saw the Wall as a wildling and realized how imposing and foreboding it was.

Red Wedding

When Arya and the Hound reach the Twins, and witness the murder of Stark men, she is shocked by the sheer number of people murdered. She is further traumatized by the sight of her brother's decapitated body being paraded around with his direwolf's head attached to it in the mockery of his nickname, The Young Wolf. It is one of the most powerful and shocking incidents in the series.

Daenerys' welcome at Meereen

After the sack of Meereen, many slaves are freed by the merchants of Meereen. When Daenerys tells them they are free, they begin to chant Mhysa, which means mother in Ghiscari, and surround her completing a scene from the prophesies at the House of Undying.

Eyrie

When Sansa arrives at the Eyrie, she is amazed by the castles built on the steep mountains and is overwhelmed by the narrow ways in the mountains that one has to travel to reach Sky, the main castle. The sight of the impregnable fortress makes her feel safe in a very long time.
