Feyre Archeron

Feyre is the protagonist in the novel A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. Feyre is a traumatized character from the previous series but in this novel, she exhibits courage and zeal to conquer her worries. Feyre is in a sexual relationship with Tamlin in the Night Court. Feyre is a High Fae, a status that gives her recognition and power.

Feyre's romantic experience with Tamlin is strained because he controls her life and tries to dictate what she should do. In addition, Feyre is unhappy in her relationship with Tamlin because he is overprotective. When Feyre starts a new relationship with Rhysand in the Spring Court, she feels appreciated and truly loved. Consequently, the Spring Court is therapeutic for Feyre because she starts to heal while living with Rhysand.

Tamlin

Tamlin is Feyre's boyfriend and the High Lord of the Night Court. Tamlin is overprotective, controlling, and emotional. Tamlin does not want to see any man besides Feyre, and he fears that he might lose her at any time. When Feyre's post-trauma syndrome intensifies, she moves out of the Night Court and goes to live with Rhysand.

Rhysand

Rhysand is the High Lord of the Spring Court, an understanding, caring, respectful, and compassionate individual. When Feyre goes to live with Rhysand in the Spring Court, he treats her with respect and shows her genuine love. In the previous years, Rhysand and Feyre had struck a deal that she must spend seven days monthly with him. Throughout this period, Feyre has discovered that Rhysand is a respectful man who treats her with dignity compared to Tamlin. Consequently, Feyre and Rhysand start a romantic relationship looking forward to marrying each other.

King of Hybern

King of Hybern is the antagonist in A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. The King of Hybern intends to take control of faerie and mortal kingdoms. The King of Hybern's greediness threatens the lives of Feyre and other people in the kingdom. However, the King of Hybern can only take control of the two realms after seizing both halves of the book. To ensure this does not happen, Feyre returns to the Night Court to live with Tamlin, not because she loves him, but to gather information about the impending war. Feyre and her team, which includes Amren, Cassian, and Azriel manage to seize half of the book, thus preventing the King of Hybern from concurring both faerie and mortal kingdoms.
