Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of "To a Mouse," students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Students may create group research presentations to share with the class, as in the Classroom Activity "Historical Research Project."

Students will need the internet to access relevant academic materials, as in the Classroom Activities "Historical Research Project" or "Close Listening: Scots Language."

Students may share their poems on a collective discussion forum, and leave comments on each others' poems, as in the Classroom Activity "Burns...
