Objective:

Students will learn about the literary theories behind the craft of writing a short story, brainstorm a short story idea, and then draft their own short story.

Structure:

Begin this activity by asking students what they know about narrative structure. Ask them what they're currently noticing about the structure of "Through the Tunnel."
