Head Shaving
We watch as Jordan tells everyone that he's giving a female sales associate $10,000 to shave her head. The imagery reveals how the culture at Jordan's Wall Street firm has become one where money can buy anything they want, from heads being shaved to prostitutes appearing at random. It reveals how out of control everything has become.
The Wolf of Wall Street
Jordan can't believe that a Forbes article has come out naming him "The Wolf of Wall Street". He's horrified at home with his wife, but the next days a slew of young men are begging to work at his firm. The imagery reveals just what Jordan's wife said, "There is no such thing as bad publicity."
Country Club
Jordan drives home from the country club and believes he's gotten home safely even though he's high out of his mind. In reality, he destroyed his car as he drove through nearly everything in his way. This imagery reveals the lies we tell ourselves when we are abusing drugs when the reality is much worse.
Script
We watch as Jordan teaches his team to sell penny stocks. The scene intercuts with him reading off of a script into the telephone to a perspective client to convince him to buy crap stocks. The unseen client on the other end of the line is thrilled to be making such an exciting investment as Belfort is literally flipping him the bird. The imagery reveals that Jordan as become what Mark Hanna has taught him to be: a ruthless broker that is only interested in getting rich. Clients do not matter.
