Despite their animosity, the two find themselves falling for each other. However, Anthony must overcome his own fear of falling in love, before he and Kate can be truly happy together.

The series has been adapted into a Netflix series by Shonda Rhimes under the title Bridgerton and was released in December 2020. The second series of the show is set to follow Anthony’s story, and will star Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton and Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma. The show is the highest watched series on Netflix, reaching 82 million households across the world.
